CORONAVIRUS COEXISTENCE DAY 59

Coronavirus Coexistence DAY 59 Sunday, May 10, 2020

Today I have to admit that I woke up at noon, since I went to bed at four in the morning completely hooked on the second season of “Dead to Me”. Just when I got into bed and was finally able to fall asleep, a thunderstorm started and I thought the world was ending, and kept me awake. So in the end, I don’t know what time I fell asleep. This morning was one of those SLOWWWWWW mornings…

cash fanAnd just when I was waking up, I started reading my WhatsApp messages and there was one from one of the neighborfriends that said: Shall we do a Bizum (in Spain an app to send money) today?” I answered, “Hmm, if it’s means you are going to give me money great, if not I´m not sure what you want to do with that app”, hahahaha. There are so many different platforms now a day that they get confused with Zoom, Bizum, WhatsApp, Skype, Telegram, Teams, WeChat and your f***ing mother, hahahahahaha.

Nothing, just that, hahahaha.A very relaxed day. I woke up, had breakfast, Zoom with friends, cleaned up the house, made food, ate, watched an episode of my series and prepared my costume for today. This costume thing may seem silly, but I have to give it a lot of thought, hehehe, and on the weekends, it is a little harder to think. Today was easy, since it wasn’t really a costume (well, maybe a little disguised in the eyes of some), but I always look super cute, if anyone doesn’t like it, you know what you need to do…

It was a luxury to have Lucía Marín on the program, it is a shame we didn´t have a great connection. We will have to repeat one way or another…

The day slipped by very quickly, I had more things planned, but I´m beat… Tomorrow will be 60 days of our lockdown, 60 days of isolation… 60 days without seeing my boyfriend... and it’s getting hard for me…

Daily reflection: I realize that there is no way to stop time even for a single moment. We can stop the mind and our thoughts, but our environment continues to revolve around us. I try to; at least retain those good moments in my mind, in slow motion, so that they never fade away.
