CORONAVIRUS COEXISTENCE DAY 72

Coronavirus Coexistence DAY 72 Saturday, May 23, 2020

We continue with the refrigerator saga. After carrying out a complete analysis (with Excel spreadsheet included) of prices, power, shelves, dimensions, consumption, etc., etc., I realize that my tastes are not in line with my finances. Those that are perfect are not perfect for my pocket, and those that are do not convince me at all (well, they will have to convince me). If someone needs to buy a refrigerator, I can give them the analysis hahahaha. I think I deserve at least a diploma for this…

Bitmoji ImageI also want to tell you that I always have to help my mother take a shower, and today I turned on the shower so that the water would warm up. I left the bathroom for a couple of seconds while she took off her clothes to go get her change of clothes. I told her, “DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING” (as if I were talking to a small child). When I came back, suddenly, a stream of water from the shower attacked me… My mother had taken the shower hose and started to spray me (unintentionally, hahahaha). Apparently she decided that she was going to take a shower herself (but outside of the shower), and when I came in and caught her, she pointed the water at me… and I was like “AAHHHHHHH, MOM, STOP!” Nothing, water everywhere, me screaming, my mother screaming, the Gremlins come running and find us… My mother half-naked with the water gun, me looking like a wet cat and the bathroom looked like a fish tank…

Anyway, I have to tell you that suddenly my refrigerator started to get a little cold, as if it knew we were going to get rid of it and was trying, with what little force it has left, to continue cooling our lives. Now I feel bad… Well, today I still haven’t been able to buy a new one, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow. The beep, beep, beep continues, but is less constant. Will it go away completely? The mysteries of Nuria’s house...

Today I had a great time with my friend Nadia talking about beach volleyball. I loved my costume, and we have agreed that in the next few weeks, for the second edition of “Conquer your Fears”, I will go to see how I am at volleyball… hahahahaha…

Daily reflection: When you feel like you can’t take it anymore, that nothing worse can happen, that’s when the magic of your mind takes control. You have two options: make everything disappear or make it appear. Hide or confront things. You decide, you command.

“Today I had a face off and although it was a tough battle I showed up.”
