Coronavirus Coexistence DAY 33 Tuesday, April 14, 2020

Let’s see… Today I behaved well. I woke up early, I worked remotely, I even went shopping (the same thing as always, the meter and a half, the gloves, the mask and blah, blah, blah… everything seems normal now). Although today, in the shopping line, we were all women my age (yes, say it, you are thinking about it… old lady’s, yes, all f***ing old lady´s.

One starts by saying, “Does anyone know how I can get these f***ing gel nails off?” And another responds, “Well, you’re screwed, that doesn’t come off with nail polish remover.” Another says, “Don’t worry, who’s going to see you? Look at my hair full of gray and my nails are a mess.” Then another jumps in, “Leave the gray hair, look how good it looks on me.” And another comments, “I’ve tried it, but it makes me feel very old, it looks great on you.” And another says, “Of course, if we all let our gray hair come out and are fat, we will all be equals and feel great.”… I know you are going to think that I am making all this up, I should have recorded it.

Anyway, today I decided to interview people, yes, many of you. I thought of five questions that I was curious to know the answers about how you feel during this lockdown. I sent messages to some who I thought would listen to me and not tell me things like: “I don’t ever go in front of a camera,” or “I don’t have makeup on.” , “I have to get ready,” or “What kind of questions? I don’t want to have to answer anything,” hahahaha. Anyway, there were more excuses than the questions I was going to ask you…

But I want to thank those who, without thinking, offered me their time and honesty. I love you guys. I am preparing another round of interviews with children and teens to find out their opinions.

Well, I can’t tell you much more today. The days I think are getting shorter. I don’t have time for anything. I need to do a Ctrl Z…

And yes, I continue with “Money Heist”, now on to season 3. I will try to watch it little by little, savor it. What is your favorite character? (Those of you who have seen the series) I have to admit that I have a soft spot for Berlin… I don’t know, he is so arrogant, so… I love him. 

Daily reflection: I have felt very supported and grateful today from all those who follow me, encourage me, even if they think I am crazy, from those who are always there, some have been for a long time and others who have just arrived in my life, but with whom we have created bonds forever.
