CORONAVIRUS COEXISTENCE DAY 14

Coronavirus Coexistence DAY 14 Thursday, March 26, 2020

And here we are again. I imagine that 14 days later, you no longer find my chronicles so funny, but hey, I continue with it because it keeps me healthy.

Yesterday I was telling you how my poor jeans were screaming and begging me not to stretch them so much. Well, today I risked my life by going out to walk the dog and shop at the store next door. There I was so happy: my dog, my trash and my jeans. I threw out the trash, up to now everything, all good. The dog relieved herself and when I went to bend down to pick up the shit, I heard… “shhrrrhshshshsh” (let’s see, you know I’m not good at describing sounds, leave me alone…). But the sound was coming from my beloved jeans. They couldn’t take it anymore. The poor things burst!

Right near my private parts, in the middle of the street with poop in my hand. All I could do was laugh and think. I have two options. Run home covering myself with the dog in my arms, or continue shopping. Which one do you think I chose? Well of course, you are getting to know me. I went straight to the store, with my head held high, a dog and a pair of happy jeans (I think I heard them say, “We told you so… you didn’t listen to us”). Thank goodness, they know me at the store and don’t care what I look like. I came home even happier than when I left.

The day got even better, today is our dog’s birthday. She has been in our lives for 6 years now. Those who know her know that she is a very sweet dog, affectionate, kind, obedient (well, she actually does whatever she wants, but we won’t hold that against her). She pees when she sees someone she hasn’t seen in a while because she gets nervous and exited, she barks when the doorbell rings, she insists that we pet her all the time, she wants to eat in the living room table with us, but hey, it is what it is. Many times, I think that no one has told her that she is a dog, poor thing. Without her, this lockdown would not be the same. Therefore, we had to throw a party and record it of course.

Video notes… My mother made us the little hats, and I put a sausage in the muffin,  our dog also loves muffins. No animals were harmed in making this video, as I don’t want any complaints from PETA.

Changing the subject, today I want to talk about another great artistic friend. She is great at everything, cooking, baking (she made and I imagine she still makes the best cupcakes ever), she draws, does upholstering etc, etc. She is a great mother and a very good friend, a sincere, good soul that is full of kindness. I invite you to visit her Instagram @artistikarina, where you can see for yourself her great talent.

Another news to tell you is that my daughter left her coronacave for a few minutes. I hid (I’m very afraid of her) Ugh, what a scare we had! Even my mother hid. Those who know her know exactly why we are afraid of her hahahaha. (This is all at midnight, it is when she has the most energy and we usually see her leaving her habitat).

Let’s see what else I can tell you about today, a little more of the same. Ahhhh yes, yesterday I forgot to tell you. Well, it turns out that one of my co-workers lives on the block right across from mine and we didn’t know it. We were talking on our work group on WhatsApp and we said why don´t we wave at each other through our windows. I knew she lived in the area, but what I didn’t expect was that she lived right on the block across the street. So we both went out and took a photo of the other from each perspective.

Daily reflection: Stop eating now! Try on your jeans daily, so there are no more victims! Reflect on the feelings of all those objects that we put to test with our growing flesh and skin.
