The Caregiver’s Chronicles is probably the most difficult book I have ever written.

For years, I shared the brighter side of life — travel, humor, and anecdotes. But behind all of that, there was another story: the story of caring for my mother as Alzheimer’s gradually erased her memories… and changed my life as well.

In these pages, I wanted to tell the reality exactly as I lived it. No embellishments. No filters. The moments of despair, the guilt, the exhaustion, the small joys, the impossible decisions, the tears… and also the immense love that exists when you care for the person who once cared for you.

I’m not a doctor or a psychologist, and I’m not here to teach anyone any lessons. I’m simply a daughter who needed to write in order not to fall apart, and who hopes this book will help those walking the same path feel a little less alone.
